- The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident and two working fires today. The day started off with an early morning 10-50 PI at the intersection of Anderson Lane and West Jarrettsville Road at 01:14. Pool Rescue Drill
AUGUST 02
- Members of the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company and the Lifeguards at the North Harford Swim Club participated in a joint pool rescue drill on Monday, August 2nd. In mock scenarios, lifeguards, firefighters, and EMTs practiced stabilizing patients with suspected diving injuries and securing them to backboards for transport. - The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with rescue at 15:33 in the area of West Jarrettsville and Sharon Acres Roads. First-arriving units advised a single van into a pole and on its side with no rescue. Rescue 751 and I.V. 792 arrived and assessed one patient who refused treatment. Jarrettsville Volunteers with Fastest Time of the Day
JULY 25
- Members of the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company ventured south to Kent Island this past Sunday to participate in Kent Island's 2nd Annual Firefighter Auto Extrication Competition. Eight other teams from Maryland and Delaware including members of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company also competed. - Company 7 was alerted at 2142 hours for an ambulance with 4-wheel drive assist to aid subjects who were tubing in Deer Creek. Within minutes, Jarrettsville Volunteers and the Harford County Technical Rescue Team were alerted to respond as a rescue assignment, and then as a search detail to locate six missing individuals tubing in Deer Creek. - The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for wires down in the 4400 block of Norrisville Road at the scene of a 10-50 PD at 10:20. Brush 742 called en route soon after the alert and arrived on-scene with Chief 7 with a dump truck through a pole and into a shed.
