The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the 3200 block of Jarrettsville Pike at 20:42. Rescue 751 responded moments after the alert with a crew of six and arrived at the scene of a two-vehicle collision, one vehicle with heavy driver-side damage and one vehicle on its side.
Command quickly upgraded the call to a rescue due to the entrapment of one subject. Rescue 751's crew quickly went to work stabilizing the vehicle and removed the driver and passenger-side doors, along with the "B" post located between the front and rear doors. Command requested aviation transport for a Priority 2 Category B patient which brought Trooper 1 to the scene. One patient was transported by Trooper 1 to Shock Trauma for further assessment. JVFC cleared the scene at 21:43.
