The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 23 and High Point Road at 16:30. Both Jarrettsville ambulances responded moments after the alert, as did Rescue 751 with a crew of six. The units quickly arrived at the seen of a two-car accident with three people injured. I.V. 792 assessed two patients who were transported by land to Shock Trauma and I.V. 791 transported one patient to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for further evaluation. Rescue 751's crew secured the scene and assisted with patient packaging.
