The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to relocate an engine to Baltimore County Station 60 (Parkton) at 15:36 while their crews were fighting a large woods fire. Engine 712 responded and was advised by Dispatch to continue to the scene in the 18000 block of Prettyboy Dam Road to assist crews on location. Upon arrival, Engine 712's crew was directed by Command to establish a fire line and extinguish the flames covering a large hill side. Engine 712 remained on scene for approximately four hours before being released.
