Snowy Conditions Result in Two MVA's

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the 3300 block of Jarrettsville Pike at 17:00. Rescue 751 followed by I.V. 791 called en route and was advised by Chief 7-9 of a two-vehicle accident with two patients. Upon arrival, Rescue 751's crew assisted EMS personnel with patient stabilization and secured the scene of hazards.

While on scene, Rescue 751 was advised of a second accident with reported rescue in the area of Madonna and Mount Horeb Roads. Engine 712 and Brush 742 responded along with Rescue 751. Engine 712 quickly arrived at the scene of a two-vehicle collision with one patient who extricated themself from their vehicle. Units on scene handled two patient refusals of care and all units were placed in service.
