The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the 2000 Block of Furnace Road at 15:30. Engine 712 followed by Medic 791 called en route and arrived on a single vehicle into a pole. Engine 712 and Medic 791 assessed a single patient who was transported to a local area trauma center. Crews remained on scene for a short time before returning to service.
