With dry conditions and high winds during the last week of November, field fires kept the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company very busy. Multiple Fires had to be extinguished during the week including one incident that had spread to a house causing minor damage. In one of the photos you can see JVFC using a nearby pool as a water source to extinguish a fire. Remember to make sure discarded ashes are fully extinguished and that any outside fire is attended to avoid unnecessary fire spread.
