The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of Houcks Road & Norrisville Road at 16:21 hours. During dispatch the incident was upgraded to a rescue assignment. Units quickly arrived on scene and reported a two vehicle head on collision and advised that there was no rescue. Crews assessed a single patient who was treated and transported to an area trauma center. Traffic was affected for one hour before the road was able to be re-opened.
