The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an animal rescue located inside a barn stall. Reports advised a horse had one of its rear legs stuck in between the bars of the stall wall. The crew from Rescue 751 was able to use hydraulic tools to safely remove the bars and free the horse’s leg. The horse was evaluated by an on-scene veterinarian and crews were placed in service shortly thereafter.
