The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with rescue in the area of Route 165 & Route 23. Units responded and arrived to find a single vehicle vs. telephone pole with the vehicle on its side with one patient still inside. Crews quickly went to work stabilizing the vehicle and gained access to the patient by removing the front windshield. A single patient was treated and transported by Medic 792 to an area facility for further evaluation. Units were placed into service shortly thereafter.
