The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a reported garage fire located in the 3900 Block of Grimm Road in the early morning hours. Deputy Chief 7 arrived and reported a detached garage fully involved. Crews quickly went to work stretching hose lines to extinguish the fire. Supply 781 secured a water source at "Grimmels Pond." Fire is being investigated by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's office.
