The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond two engines for a reported dwelling fire in the 700 Block of Highland Road. Engine 712 responded and upon arrival assisted units with extinguishing the fire on the second floor. Engine 714 responded and stood by as the Rapid Intervention Team for crews inside. Both units remained on scene for an extended period of time before returning to service.
