The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company along with surrounding companies were alerted for a reported chimney fire in the 3800 Block of Federal Hill Road. Crews arrived and reported a working chimney fire contained to the chimney. Fire was extinguished and crews reported no fire extension. Crews remained on scene for approximately 1 hour before returning to service.
