The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an auto fire in the area of Norrisville Road and Jarrettsville Pike at 18:23. Engine 714 arrived on a single car in a parking lot with the engine compartment fully involved with extension into the passenger compartment. Engine 714's crew pulled two 13/4-inch hand lines and began making access to the engine compartment. Engine 711 arrived second and assisted with fire operations. Units cleared the scene at 18:57.
