Jacksonville Engine 473 was the second engine to arrive and advanced another hand line to the 1^st floor to check for any extension and to protect the stairwell. 714's crew found furniture on fire near a wood stove with mild extension into the ceiling. The entry crew quickly knocked out the flames and the fire was declared under control at 04:51. Crews remained on the scene for salvage and overhaul of the building and cleared at 06:26." />
