for his 50 years of active service to the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company and John Simpson, III, was inducted into the Harford/Cecil Firemen's Association Hall of Fame. Lucy Grimmel was inducted into the Harford/Cecil Ladies Auxiliary Hall of Fame and Mike Hays and Malea Daughton were each recognized for having served 5 consecutive years as the head of their respective divisions.
