Transfer to Hereford Proves Busy

Company 7 was alerted to transfer an engine to Hereford, Station 44 in Baltimore County, while they worked a house fire in their 44-36 box on Foreston Road.

After going in quarters, Engine 712 was alerted to respond on a fire/rescue box off of Phoenix Road in Cockeysville's first due. Engine 712 arrived but was placed in service.

Shortly after returning to Station 44, Engine 712 responded on a Hereford medical box, along with Jarrettsville's ambulance. Both units were eventually placed in service and Engine 712 came home four hours later.
