| The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a building fire in the 2000 Block of Mount Horeb Road at 20:07. Engine 714 called en route with six soon after the alert followed by Rescue 751. First arriving units reported a 15'x15' shed, fully involved, with exposure to a vehicle which was also fully involved.
Engine 714 proceeded up the lane and pulled a 13/4-inch pre-connect hand line and made an attack on the automobile. Rescue 751 staged at the end of the lane and its crew assisted Engine 714 with fire ground operations. Engine 714 remained on scene for a short period of time and later cleared. Box was held to first two engines. Last unit cleared the scene at 20:53. |
