| At 13:01 the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a field and woods fire in the 4100 block of Houcks Road. Chief 7-2 arrived at 13:03 and advised that he was on the scene of a 10'x100' working woods fire to the rear of the residence. Brush 741, Brush 742, Supply 781, and Engine 714 arrived moments later and went to work bringing the large brush fire under control. Chief 7-2 also requested an additional engine to assist with water supply. Units were on location for approximately 1 and 1/2 hours and cleared at 14:36. |
