The Jarrettsville Volunteers received their annual ice and cold water training at the Rose Farm on Norrisville Road. Crews spent the morning hours listening to a presentation by the Susquehanna Hose Company Dive Team describing ice and cold water emergencies and rescues. They then participated in a number of scenarios using vaious techniques to rescue victims from the water.

A special thanks to Mr. Smith and Dave Rose for allowing us once again to access their property. Thanks also to the SHCO Dive Team for their training and the JVFC Auxiliary for providing refreshments and food before and after the drill.
