Chimney Fire 725 Box

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a chimney fire in the 2800 Block of Sharon Road at approximately 01:20. Due to a fire in Bel Air, Engine 712 was standing by at the Fallston VFC when the call was dispatched and responded from their station. The Level VFC was standing by at the Bel Air VFC and called en route and arrived first on the scene and advised a working chimney fire. Crews from Level and Jarrettsville found the fire to be contained to the chimney with no extension to the dwelling. Units remained on scene for approximately one hour before being placed in service.
