Helicopter Standby 717 Box

Early in the evening, the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond an engine for a helicopter standby at the Harford-Elkridge Point-to-Point race off of Pocock Road. EMS crews on-scene requested aviation for a Priority 1 Category A patient, bringing Jarrettsville Engine 712 to the scene. Crews assisted with loading the patient into Express Care 1 which transported them to a trauma center.
