Trash Fire 714 Box

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a field fire in the 3200 block of Old York Road at around 11:30. JVFC units called en route and arrived on a large trash fire at the location. Multiple crews secured the burning debris and kept it contained in its area until the bulk of the fire had burned out. Crews remained on scene for an extended time before returning to service.
