The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a reported dwelling fire in the 3000 block of Bellechasse Road at approximately 13:30. Engine 714 quickly arrived, followed closely by Rescue 751, on a split-level dwelling with smoke showing from an attached garage. Crews made entry through the closed garage door and located the fire inside the garage with no extension to the dwelling. Crews overhauled the garage for an extended period of time before being placed back into service.
