The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of High Point Road and Route 23 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Units called en route and arrived at the scene of a two-vehicle accident located in the intersection. A second medic unit from Norrisville VFC also responded and both medic crews evaluated two patients who were transported to a local area hospital for further evaluation. Units remained on scene for an extended time before being placed back into service.
