The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a reported combine fire in the area of Trestle Drive and Sharon Road at approximately 1700 hours. Engine 712 responded and arrived on the scene of a combine at the end of the court with a small grain fire in the tractor. A single hand line was used to extinguish the fire and units were soon placed back into service.
