The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond an engine and supply unit to the 1300 block of Boggs Road at approximately 20:00 hours for a reported building fire. Engine 712 and Supply 781 quickly called en route. The first-arriving units initially reported a two-story detached garage with smoke showing, but soon requested a working fire assignment, sending Engine 714 to the scene. JVFC crews assisted with ventilation and overhaul as both of the engines shuttled water to the scene from a nearby water source secured by Supply 781 and Brush 742. Crews remained on scene for approximately two hours before being placed back into service.
