The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond an engine to the scene of a reported barn fire located in the 1700 Block of Troyer Road which is located just over the County line. Engine 712 responded followed later by Engine 711. Units arrived with a working barn fire and Command requested Supply 781 to respond and set up a secondary water source. Units worked the fire ground shuttling water and performing overhaul for approximately 3 hours before being placed back into service.
