Icy Conditions Keep County Busy

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for multiple fire and emergency medical incidents during the morning hours. Freezing temperatures combined with a mix of light rain caused icy conditions for all of Harford County and the surrounding areas. Units throughout the county responded to multiple vehicle accidents and various other emergencies. Harford County Emergency Management reports 206 calls for service were dispatched for Harford County between the hours of 07:00 and 13:00. Jarrettsville remained attended with fire and EMS crews throughout the day.
