The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an engine to respond to the scene of a reported dwelling fire located in the 3900 block of Sweet Air Road in Jacksonville. Engine 712 responded moments after alert and soon arrived on location. First-arriving crews found a chimney fire with extension into the attic space and quickly knocked the bulk of the fire down. Engine 712's crew assisted with overhaul and was placed into service shortly thereafter.
