The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond to a reported barn fire located in the 5100 block of Jolly Acres Road inside Norrisville VFC's first due area at 13:30 hours. Units were advised en route of multiple calls reporting a working barn fire and also multiple exposure issues. Engine 712 responded and arrived as the second engine, supplying a continuous water source to Tanker 1025 who then supplied the attack Engine 1011. Engines 714 and 711 also arrived and shuttled water to the scene while Supply 781 secured a secondary water source nearby. Crews worked the incident for 4 hours before being placed in service. Everyone did a great job flowing a constant water supply to the incident in a rural area without ever losing water.

Thank you also for JVFC's Utility 787 and members of the Auxiliary for responding with refreshments to the scene.
