The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an auto fire in the 2100 Block of High Point Road at 07:30 hrs. Engine 714 with a crew of 6 responded along with Bel Air Engine 313. Units arrived to find a single vehicle with a fully involved engine compartment. Fire was quickly extinguished with a 1 3/4" attack line. Crews went in service within 20 minutes of arrival.
