The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company responded on two separate technical rescues this date.

The first was located at Kilgore Falls off of Falling Branch Road. Units were dispatched for a child with a leg injury located at the top of the falls. Rescue 751 was the first suppression unit on scene and its personnel made their way to the patient to begin their assessment. The patient was removed using a Stokes basket on a wheeled device. The patient was transported by land to a local hospital for evaluation.

The second incident was located at the King and Queen Seat in Rocks State Park. A patient had fallen approximately 20'-30' from the rock formation. Personnel from Jarrettsville and the Harford County Technical Rescue Team worked together for over an hour to safely secure and remove the patient who was then taken to an awaiting ambulance. The extrication was very time consuming due to the treacherous terrain rescuers encountered. The patient was then transferred to the landing zone where MSP Trooper 6 was waiting to transport the patient to an area trauma center.
