The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an auto fire in the 3200 block of Dry Branch Road at approximately 0800 hours. Engine 712 and Chief 7 arrived on a single vehicle, fully involved. Crews pulled a single 1^3/4" hand line and extinguished the fire. Additional absorbent was requested and delivered by Brush 742 due to a large fuel spill at the location. Units remained on-scene for an extended period of time before being placed into service.
