The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the 3800 block of Norrisville Road at approximately 10:00 a.m. Medic 792 responded and arrived, reporting a two-vehicle accident with fire coming from the engine compartment of one vehicle. Rescue 751 arrived and pulled a single 1 3/4" hand line to quickly extinguish the fire. Medic 792 assessed a single patient and units were placed in service shortly thereafter.
