The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of Norrisville Road and Route 165 at approximately 10:30 a.m. Responding units arrived on the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the location with one vehicle on its side. Command soon confirmed that two patients were trapped and began rescue operations. Crews went to work stabilizing the vehicle using rescue struts and anchoring them to Rescue 751. Access to the patients was made by removing a portion of the roof. Medic 791 and IV 792 both transported patients to local area facilities for further assessment. Units were placed into service soon after.
