Dwelling Fire 727 Box

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a dwelling fire in the 1100 Block of Knopp Road just before 19:30 hrs. Engine 712 responded and arrived to find a single family dwelling with smoke showing from the Alpha/Delta side. Crews were able to locate and put a quick knock on the fire which was located in an attic space. Additional crews vented the roof to allow better access and ventilation. There were no injuries. Crews remained on scene for approximately 2 hours before clearing.
