The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an engine to respond to the 17000 block of Troyer Road at 15:18. Units on-scene were dealing with a large field fire that was ignited by a downed power line. Due to the size of the field fire, JVFC was alerted for and responded two brush units to assist with extinguishing the fire. Crews remained on the scene for approximately two hours before being placed back into service.
