The Jarretttsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a reported tractor on fire in the area of Rigdon and Sharon Roads. Units arrived to find a fully involved farm tractor approximately 40 feet off the roadway. Crews used an 1 ^3/4" hand line to extinguish the fire. After some minor overhaul, our units were placed back into service.
