The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond an engine to fill-in at Norrisville Volunteer Fire Company while their crews were in York County (Eureka 54), PA, with a reported 15,000 hay bales on fire. Engine 712 then was requested to respond to the scene to assist those crews. Engine 711 responded to Norrisville to take over the fill-in. Crews spent several hours on the incident before being placed back into service.
