The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 24 and Saint Clair Bridge Road. Units arrived at the scene of a single vehicle off the roadway and into a pole. Crews extricated a single patient who was transported by JVFC EMS Unit 791 to a local area hospital. Route 24 was closed for a short period of time to remove the pole from the roadway.
