The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for two engines and supply unit to respond for the reported house fire in the 5300 block of Rocks Road in the early morning hours. Units were dispatched for a reported chimney fire, but upon arrival found fire showing from the roof area. Multiple units worked this incident into the early morning hours before being released back into service. Engines 714 & 712 assisted with fire attack, overhaul and shuttling water to the scene from a local water source.
