The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond two engines to the scene of a reported dwelling fire in the 5400 block of Long Corner Road. Chief 10 arrived on location and reported a two-story wood frame dwelling with fire showing from the rear. Crews from multiple departments worked this incident into the late morning hours before being placed back into service. Engines 712 & 714 assisted with fire attack and overhaul of the structure.
