The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond an engine and supply for a reported building fire in the 1600 Block of Main Street. First arriving crews found a large warehouse with smoke showing from the front. Crews investigated and found smoldering debris in the rafter area of the warehouse. Crews were able to make cuts in the roof to extinguish the fire and to ensure there was no additional fire extension. Engine 712 assisted with fire ground operations while Supply 781 secured a water supply at a near by draft site.
