The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the area of Sharon Acres Road for a reported auto fire at approximately 19:00 hours. Engine 714 arrived to find a single vehicle fully involved located in a field. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames resulting in no injuries and no further damage to the surrounding area. Crews remained on scene for a brief period of time before being placed back in service.
