The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of Old Federal Hill Road and West Jarrettsville Road at approximately 1830 hrs. Units arrived to find a single vehicle vs. a telephone pole. Crews secured the area surrounding the downed pole while assessing a single patient. One patient was treated and transported to an area hospital for further evaluation. Fire Police maintained the closure of the road until the pole was able to be repaired.
