The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a reported auto fire in the 4800 block of Norrisville Rd. First arriving units reported a single vehicle, well involved in fire. Engine 711 used a single 1 3/4" hand line to extinguish the fire. Crews secured the scene of all hazards before returning to service. Norrisville Rd was shut down for a brief period while crews handled the incident.
