The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond 2 engines to the scene of a reported chimney fire in the 5200 Block of Rocks Road. First arriving units encountered a working chimney fire with fire extension into the walls. Crews went to work to extinguish the fire and check for additional extension. JVFC units on scene assisted with fire ground operations before being placed back into service.
