The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond two engines and the supply to the scene of a reported dwelling fire in the 4400 Block Slate Ridge Road. First arriving units arrived and reported a single story dwelling with fire showing and shortly after requested the second alarm. Engine 712 & 713 assisted with fire ground operations and Supply 7 assisted with water supply. Units remained on scene for an extended period of time before being placed back into service.
