Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company partnered up with ESI Equipment Inc. to host a High Voltage Vehicle Battery Fire class held at our main station. Members reviewed classroom materials before heading out to Browns Junkyard for hands on training. Crews learned how to set up a vehicle to cool down the battery pack, firefighting techniques specific to electronic vehicles and how to extricate patients inside.
